Let G be a Lie group equipped with a left-invariant Riemannian metric and with a subgroup normal K. Then the subgroup K induces a left-invariant foliation on G which is assumed to be conformal. We show that if the subgroup K is semisimple then the induced foliation F is minimal and hence locally produces complex-valued harmonic morphisms. This is joint work with Sigmundur Gudmundsson (Lund University).
