The Institute Council is a central committee of the Institute of Mathematics. It provides a forum for consultation and coordination on important matters concerning the Institute, particularly in the areas of research, teaching, studies and organisation.

Voting members are all professors of the Institute, as well as the elected representatives of the academic staff and the student representatives.
