The Milnor-Moore Theorem, which was originally proved in 1965, describes the structure of a class of cocommutative Hopf algebras. In this talk I will discuss a generalization of the Milnor-Moore Theorem in an algebraic locality setting, together with some consequences that are specific to the locality framework and do not occur in the ordinary setup. I will start with basic concepts on Hopf algebras and algebraic locality so that no previous knowledge on the topic is required. This is joint work with P. Clavier and S. Paycha.
Forthcoming and last talk before the Summer break: Larisa Jonke (Ruđer Bošković Institute, Zagreb) on July 23rd. You are welcome to suggest speakers or topics for the forthcoming sessions.
You are welcome to invite your friends and colleagues to join us! If you wish to attend the talks, please contact Sylvie Paycha paycha@math.uni-potsdam.de for the login details.
