Abstract
In this seminar we give a gentle introduction to equilibrium fluctuations
of interacting particle systems with many conserved quantities, taking
the ABC model (a three species exclusion process on a integer lattice)
as a prototype. We explain how their large scale behaviour can be
predicted via nonlinear fluctuating hydrodynamic theory and is affected
by asymmetry and locality of the microscopic dynamics.
