Exploring quantum fields on rotating black holes
Christiane Klein (York University, UK)
Diego Andrés López Valencia (Potsdam University)
The Mellin transform is very useful when studying meromorphic continuations of different types of zeta functions, however it is not always easy to calculate. In this talk I will introduce and illustrate the proof of two beautiful theorems by Nilsson and Passare of 2010 about the fundamental tube of convergence of multivariate rational functions, and a slightly more general result we are using in our study of Shintani zeta functions.
